Dr. Nitin Patil
Dr. Nitin Patil has been practicing AUT, naturopathy and yoga along with psychotherapy for many years, uniquely integrating his practices for patients with psychosomatic illness and issues related with relationships and life-style changes. His background in psychology and holistic health allows him to work with each individual and help guide them to an awareness of mind, body and spirit.
He is postgraduate in Psychology and has obtained certified training in yoga and naturopathy from Swami Vivekananda Yoga University, Bangalore. Being elder son of Dr. Shashi Patil since childhood he has acquired therapeutic skill in holistic modalities like clinical massage, acupressure, Reiki, Shiatsu and exercise therapy. He is also certified practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy, very effective therapy devised by Arthur Lincoln Paul. Ortho-Bionomy is a gentle, non-invasive, system of healing that reminds the body of its natural ability to restore balance.
Presently Dr. Nitin Patil leads the administrative team of Anandkunj as Executive Director. In initial part of his career after obtaining the degree in Aeronautical Engineering he served in Indian Air Force as a dynamic officer. He has been pivotal in designing and executing the present development of Anandkunj in record span of time. As a result he is a disciplined & sincere physician and believes in the spiritual Principle that, Work is Worship.
He has written many popular books on varied topic of holistic health and he is an editor-in-chief of a monthly health magazine titled ‘Shivambu Samachar’ and a yearly journal named ‘Jeevan Jal’ published in Hindi.
Dr. Patil is a very good orator and great motivator. He as health trainer conducts workshops on topics like stress management, personality development, yoga therapy for specific diseases, healthy diet & nutrition and happy family. He always strives to broaden his professional knowledge and skills in order to better help his patients. He has also spent lots of time learning and researching in traditional holistic medicine and spiritual practices.
In addition to his clinical practice, he has been often invited by media stations, health magazines, newspapers, corporate health fairs and health groups as a guest speaker, writer and contributor.
He sees his job more than a profession, rather his mission in life. He has genuine passion for helping people regain and maintain wellness through the balanced holistic approach. He has touched many people’s life and brought the joy of health back to the people and their families. Dr. Patil has keen spiritual aspiration and believes in God.
